A dynamic estate agent, brimming with new ideas and energy and the desire to make you happy. The team at Makelaarscentrum Leidschenveen creates a home for you, literally and figuratively. Readily available, fast and accurate, and always with the interests of the client in mind.
We’re happy to help you
Rob Verhoeven has lived and been active as a real estate agent for many years in the region and particularly in Leidschenveen. His focus on this lovely Hague district make him the specialist for buying and selling a house. “I’ve seen the district grow and flourish. In fact I know some neighbourhoods better than my own street”, says Verhoeven with a laugh.
His Leidschenveen expertise has helped many people get their dream home or has helped a surprisingly swift sale, with prices that the residents could never have imagined was possible.
“I know the district inside out. With me you don’t just buy a house with X square metres and a south-facing garden. Those are features of the house, but don’t necessarily say anything about you. I like to understand your needs and desires so that you don’t just buy a house but you’re getting a complete living experience”.
Knowing the neighbourhood, understanding what the buyers want and where they will feel at home are all important factors to be able to give specific, tailor made advice.
Verhoeven is motivated and driven, but not your usual prototype fast broker. His pleasant approach and interaction and dedication are exemplary according to various online reviews. He paid attention to every detail and follows everything up” said one seller.
A client whose house was sold within a matter of days adds: “This sale exceeded all my expectations. Thank you once again fort he thorough research, advice on the asking price, for the attention to detail to optimise the presentation of the house, for the beautiful photos and brochure and for all the help with the paperwork. But above all thank you for your enthusiasm, expertise and for going the extra mile.
The sale of a home is a an incredibly important moment in our lives, where not only money but also emotions come into play. And we fully understand that at Makelaarscentrum Leidschenveen. Estate Agent Rob wants to deal with all your concerns, from the first consultation right up to the transfer at the notary.
Rob’s years of experience mean that he knows the housing market inside out. He knows both the opportunities as well as the possible problems that might arise in the sale of a house. This extensive experience means he can make the difference, for example, in how you show your home.
Clients see Rob as a passionate, committed and critical estate agent; he’ll do everything to get the best result possible. Rob: It’s really important to always be honest and transparent so that clients don’t encounter unpleasant surprises. I give 100% to every sale and ensure that there’s always a realistic, positive and enthusiastic approach to the deal. I want to ensure you that the sale of your home is in good hands and offer you a service that you can fully trust.
Curious about how I do this?
These words of appreciation are gratefully received by Verhoeven. He wants to give his clients as much peace of mind as possible. “It’s great being able to make people so happy” he says “If we haven’t yet found your dream house, we won’t stop until we do”
‘Settle for less’ doesn’t exist in my vocabulary. I always say to my clients ‘Give it to me, I’ll get it done’”

Being an estate agent means working with people. I’ve been doing it for many years and still enjoy it immensely.
The housing market has been booming for years. If you want to maintain a standard and set high expectations, this costs a lot of time and energy. For me, as is the case for everybody, finding time to relax is also essential. When I’m free I can be found in the countryside, enjoying the beauty, clearing my head and recharging my batteries.
My favourite way of doing this is with trail-running, or running off road, in the countryside. After many years of road running, I tried trail running in 2017 and was hooked. Each time I went a little further to see what my limits were and to get out of my comfort zone. Now, 3 years later, I’ve done almost 20 marathons and ultras (more than 42km). I even ran a long distance every month/six weeks in 2018-2019.
My first marathon was in Rotterdam and my longest was 60km in Ommen. But the toughest marathon was the one in Nuuksio (Finland). The most beautiful one was in Gulpen/Limburg. I did my first Ultra (52km) self-supporting and self-orienting, running totally alone through the pouring rain. Probably the most memorable (and most expensive) was the New York marathon in 2019. This had been on my bucket list and what an amazing experience it was. But I have to be honest; the screaming, hysterical American spectators cost more energy than the marathon itself…😉.
All of this has led to me being known as the MarathonMakelaar(Estate Agent)#MarathonMakelaar!
